Bought some 95 grain, 380 ACP, JHP's from Grafs... Can't find any load data for them...

Everywhere I looked up they went from 90 to 100 grains always skipping the 95 number. They are Magtech bullets. I use HP-38 and Unique powders so if anyone has any info on that I'd appreciate it...

I have one of those One Book/One Caliber for .380, I have one for most Calibers I load

Sierra has a Load for 95 grain bullet, W-231 or HP 38 same burn rate, 2.8gr/750fps - 3.4gr/950fps
Speer has a load for 95 grain bullet, W-231, 3.3gr/871fps - 3.7gr/955fps.

What I loaded in my step daughters Bersa was 3.5gr, W231, 9.70, oal, I have not Chrono'd yet as I personally do not own, but I'm looking at getting one.
I also use a taper crimp like the .45 ACP, in a separate step.

I have not tried any other powders, just ran out of time, Unique is just too bulky for such a small shell, Bullseye would be my next choice, it flows pretty good in my Dillon.

I am a bit confused by the overall length as .970 is a bit longer then every jacketed hollow point store bought ammo I have. are .940. What's the rules when you really don't find your actual bullet anywhere?

Thanks..

My Speer reloading manual shows 3.8-4.0gr. of unique for there 88gr. hp.And 3.5-3.7gr. for 100gr. hp.If this the powder you want to use,I would start out with 3.5gr.Watch for high pressure signs, .2gr. small window for min-max loads.ALWAYS Start low slowly work up to max load. Different projectiles even if same weight and OAL can effect pressure. The shorter the oal, smaller space in the brass, the higher the psi.
High pressure signs ,Flattened primers, gas leakage around primer, backing out of primer, excessive loud report recoil, sticking of brass in chamber, hard extraction.
Low pressure signs, carbon/soot on outside of brass, case not expanding to seal chamber, weak report, action failing to fully function .
NOT A RECOMMENDATION JUST WHAT I WOULD DO. Greg>huntnman.

Here's one of my first batch.. I decided after reading lots of loading manuals that I would go with HP-38 because it seems to always measure out the same on my Dillon. The recipes I saw for 95 grains mostly went from 2.8 to 3.2 grains so I went with 2.9 grains and I went with an overall length of .962

Here's a picture. This is really close up and seems much more ragged then it actually is.

You can tell how far the bullet is inserted into the case if you look carefully.

Is that enough crimp? You can kind of see the crimp on the top left and right of the brass. Just barely there.

I was using a FMJ,not a JHP, so my may be a bit longer ?

I see on your finished shell with "gaps"/"puckering" around the top of the brass,
Did the brass seal all around the bullet ?

Did you try the drop test, remove the Barrel, and see how deep it goes in the Barrel, for enough crimp ?

I saw the gaps in the picture but I think it was more the camera. Here's another shot... I don't see any gaps on any of the bullets at least like the pictures seem to show. I also guess if you're magnifying it will show a gap since the roundness of the bullet I'm using has very little flat area or you have a very long bullet. I'm already figuring to redo them and make them longer to fit this particular bullet.

Haven't taken the Ruger 380 apart yet...

Here's another picture... Camera was giving me fits this afternoon..

Thanks..
