As stated before the Dam Site campground has closed on Bull Shoals. The launch ramp will remain open. Also the dam road is one way traffic until September, rather irritating. The Browns Beach campground is open, just a short distance away.
A couple striper club members are indicting striper action in the Big Creek arm of Norfork. Both Top water and bait working shallow. Other reports indicate most of the lake has a lot of floating trash and very colored water.
Bull Shoals has some trash and 1 foot visability. It is being lowered at a rate of 1 foot every 4-5 days. This results in the White river moving fast and making fishng frustrating as your line picks up plenty of moss and junk.
