I purchased a Plotwatcher trail camera and set it up. I am quite pleased with the results.
This camera works differently than other cameras. It takes a snapshot every 5-10 seconds and makes a video of a days worth of shots. You download the flash drive, start the included viewing software. You can search on movement that occurred so you don't have to watch the entire days worth of shots. Setup is simple, sure beats trying to set up my regular trail cam!!!
This unit can be set to turn off during the midday and turns itself off at dark. I have never cared much for having shots of deer at night because they don't necessarily inhabit the same areas during daylight.
The unit can supposedly work for 6 days on a set of AA batteries. It takes HD photos so you can see a lot at long distances with this unit.
