Lakes stabalizing

Both Lake Norfork and Bull Shoals dams have returned to more normal outfall the last two days. The white river is again wadeable until about noon time, but there is plenty of damage due to the high water levels of the past few weeks. The ramp at Cotter is usable again. I caught three nice rainbows this morning using spinner baits.
I am getting lots of reports from the striper club members that they are catching stripers in the 5-15 pound range. Most are using shad slow trolled outside the brush in the morning, then moving out to deeper water before noon and dropping the shad deeper as the fish move deeper. Have not heard much from artificial users lately.
Launching on both lakes is still a wade launch from roadbeds and parking is very limited.
water temps are high 60's.
