Reports from the lake and club members show fishing is in gear. White bass are beginning to run, Crappie are in prespawn, 4-10 foot deep over brush piles.
Bass are hitting well just before dark against the banks.
Stripers are beginning to scatter out of the creek arms into the lake, fish 10-20 foot deep. Trolling swim baits and cranks baits will attract the stripes.
The main lake is just going above 50 degrees and is very clear. Fish after dark in the clear areas of go up the creek arms to find stained water to fish during daylight. A common technique to find white bass is to use jigging spoons just above the bottom in 30 foot of water back in the creek arms.
Remember that stripers and hybreds must be 20 inch minimum and many juvenile stripers and hybreds will be with those white bass.
