walleye biting

I hit Bull shoals the last couple days fishing leadcore at 30 foot using Berkely Flicker Shads. I got 3 keepers both days, returned several shorts and lost a couple keepers at the boat. Guides say the bite is better on botton buncers, which I tried, but it was too windy at my spots. I have seen the bite stop both days at least a half hour before dark. I assume they go shallower but I was happy with what I had.
The White River has been seeing wadable water in the morning and a lot of generation in the evening with much higher water.
