We had the norfork lake striper club tourney on Friday/Saturday. Both artificials and bait were allowed in this event. A 30 pound 1 ounce fish won. A 15 pound was also notable. Lots of 3-12's. The fish are very close to the brush and many members lost fish due to wrap ups. Those using bait were not using any weight, allowing the shad/shiners to swim freely.
All but one fish came from the lower lake,,,,,,guess where I fished,,,,NOT the lower lake!!!!
I whacked a large ALMOST submerged tree and saw quite a few in the mid lake area. Soon these will drop to the bottom.
