If you register to use the site you can send others who registered private messages without giving away your email address. Nothing so sacred that the government couldn't read it if they decided they really wanted to get into the database so you don't ever want to tell your deepest secrets on a private message that is only named that by the software.
I'm not good enough to get into it but I know the government is.
You can also suggest interest forums as I'm just putting this site together. You can view another forum that is devoted to Treasure Hunting on a worldwide basis if you want to see how wildly popular this site can become.

You can also customize your own signature for every post you do. (Look at the other site above for examples. You can have a picture, cartoon or whatever as your own icon. Mine is tophat due to the other site where we had a guy who called himself the "Mayor" and he decided since it was my site I must be the "Guvner" and so the tophat.) There's some pretty clever ones out there and they can even be an animated gif picture. This site is really aimed at the St. Louis/St. Charles area.
