missouri law question

I have a valid Missouri ccw and I use it to the fullest extent of the law. My question is along with concealing a handgun, is it legal to carry/conceal other weapons and use them in self defense such as mace, or a tazer/stun gun, or do I have to have special training for any of those. Thanks

I know one lawyer who reads the statute to mean you can carry any weapon you want. With no case law on the books yet though, a prosecutor COULD read it to mean handguns only and it is possible you would have to spend money on a lawyer to disagree in court. I've heard that one person has and won. No appeal in the case to create case law means it could happen again.

I would ask the prosecuting attorney's office in my area how they interpret the law if I were concerned about it. It wouldn't hurt to ask for it in writing.
