Amtrak and CCW

I was debating on taking a ride on Amtrak from STL to KC here in a couple of weeks and the thought crossed my mind of whether it's against the law to CCW on the train. I read through the law, but didn't see anything that looked like it addressed the issue. Obviously you can't CCW on planes, because of the metal detector's and other inspection mechanisms. The Metrolink on the other hand is much more lax in their screening. Although they may have postings, as long as you have it concealed, no one would know the difference.

Does anyone have experience with Amtrak and/or what the consequences may be if CCW is not allowed and you're caught with a weapon? Would it be similar to any other "private" business, where they would just ask you to get off the train?

Thanks.
