Long guns in car

Is it legal in Missouri to have a loaded long gun(rifle) in one's vehicle? I'm a bit confused on the law...

Only if you have a license to carry. Those with no license can have handguns only. There are other laws to consider though. It is illegal to hunt from a car or along, across or from a roadway. In some circumstances you may be accused of violating game laws.
