Just read something and according to this (and it's got a court case next to it..)

You cannot even go on the parking lot with your gun in the glove box of the post office. I knew you couldn't go in with it, I just missed the part where you couldn't even go on the parking lot...

I'd like to see that case. Federal facilities are supposed to follow the laws of the state they are in, except inside their buildings.
Car carry is law in Mo so any conviction for having a gun in your car on a post office parking lot would seem ripe for appeal.
