If you have been hesitant about turning in your training certificate and getting licensed, you may want to hesitate a little longer.
I was in Jefferson City Thursday and had some meetings with people who must remain unnamed.
After these conversations I am confident that a legislative fix, with an emergency clause, is in the works.
Look for CCW licensing to be taken away from the Department of Revenue and the highway patrol
and changed to a paper permit issued by the local Sheriff.
No guarantees -but the legislature adjourns on May 17th so we'll kow for sure by then.
