Do u need a hunter safty courses before u get a ccw?

Hello I'm new to all of this. I have my hunter safty but my mom doesn't. She was wanting to know if u have to have the hunter safty before she can sign up for the ccw. I heard on the grape vine u do but I can't find it stated any where.

You do not need hunter safety to get CCW, they are not related.
