Questions about moving....

I am going to be taking your ccw class on Nov. 14. I am moving to Columbia MO. Dec. 14th. Does this mean I will have to take another class in that county and reapply or will I be ok with the permit I get in Franklin co?

The law says you must apply in the county of your residence. Your training certificate will be good wherever you go.
You are supposed to notify the new and old sheriff and change the address on your Mo ID when you move. Since there is no time limit on when you apply after taking the class, you may wish to wait a few days and just apply at your new county sheriff to simplify things if it is a permanent move.

If you're going to college and still maintaining part time residency here, you would apply here. I know some attend semesters of school elsewhere and never change their voting residence, because they return to live there in between semesters and afterward..
